McWilliams & McCallen rider tuition day at Bishopscourt, Downpatrick
Your opportunity to ride the Bishopscourt Circuit and get expert tuition from Jeremy McWilliams, Phillip McCallen, John Laverty plus others.

Times: 8.45 until 17:30
Instructors: Phillip McCallen, Jeremy McWilliams - plus others.
The events will consist of 12-15 mins track sessions per hour for each of the riding groups; novice, intermediate and advanced. Each group of riders will be accompanied by several instructors, including Jeremy McWilliams, Phillip McCallen, John Laverty plus others, with a rider to instructor ratio of approx. 5:1.
Debrief sessions are carried out in the Club House. Each group are expected to complete approx. 6-7 sessions during the day (delays and weather permitting).
Running low rider to instructor ratios, helps to ensure that each rider benefits from tailored tuition and individual feedback both during and at the end of each session.
All riders are continually graded throughout the day and are moved within groups and between groups as required. The aim is to ensures that you are riding with others of the same ability.
Not Included: Food or drinks (can be purchased at the event). Clothing, Fuel, Motorcycle, transportation costs, Photographer. We do not provide electrical hook-up (for tyre warmers etc.), tyre changing services or facilities.
Clothing requirements:
Full-faced motorcycle helmet in good condition, Flip-up type helmets are allowed but they must be in the down position when riding on track. Helmets must be worn and securely fastened at all times when riding and must comply with current standards.
Textile Clothing (novice and intermediate groups only) two-piece suit with a “360 degree” zip all the way around the middle with no skin visible. Must have CE approved armour in knees, hips, elbows, shoulders and back protector. Motorcycle boots (no lace-up boots or similar) and motorcycle gloves which must fully cover the wrist.
Leathers (all groups) in good condition - all leathers must be either a one piece or two-piece suit with a “360 degree” zip all the way around the middle with no skin visible. Motorcycle boots (no lace-up boots or similar) and leather motorcycle gloves which must fully cover the wrist.
Metal knee and/or toe sliders are not allowed.
We do not provide or hire clothing. Anyone booked on this event will receive a discount on any required clothing bought from our showrooms, contact us for details.
Noise Limit:
Please note that Bishopscourt Racing Circuit operates a 104 dB noise limit on Sundays, anyone wishing to use a race or non road legal exhaust should fit baffles or dB killers to meet this requirement. All bikes are checked and you will be turned away if you do not meet the requirements. No refunds are given. If you are unsure if your bike will meet this requirement, we do offer free "noise tests" at our Lisburn showrooms for anyone booked on this event. Contact us for details.
Parking:
Parking in the Paddock area is for riders and their vans only. This event is closed to the public. Spectators can park in the Car Park on the outside of the track.
Bookings are accepted on a 'first come first served' basis, numbers are limited and so you can only 'reserve' a place on this event by making full payment prior to the event. Events are not cancelled by us for poor weather. Under extreme conditions, the Circuit may cancel an event on safety grounds. Refunds cannot be offered unless the event is cancelled on safety grounds by the circuit.

ORDERS UNDER £100
Our Northern Ireland & UK Mainland delivery charges start from £2.99 per package. Deliveries to The Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey), Scottish Highlands and Islands and Isle of Man start from £3.99 per package. Delivery’s to the Republic of Ireland start from £9.99.
UK Mainland Standard, UK Highlands and Islands Standard, and Northern Ireland 48 Hour will be shipped by Royal Mail. All other shipping methods will be shipped by our preferred courier services.
DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours from the time payment is received. Please note if we do not have the item/s you require in stock, we will contact you ASAP with a delivery date and give you the option of a full refund if you prefer.
During the order payment process the Purchaser will be presented with delivery options depending on delivery location. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to choose the correct shipping method. Phillip McCallen Motorcycles reserves the right to refuse shipping of any order for which insufficient delivery payment has been made.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We do offer international shipping. If your country is not listed under shipping options in the shopping basket, please contact us for individual shipping charges.
DELIVERY OF HELMETS, SAFETY GUARANTEED
Regardless of the price, we will only deliver your helmet by our preferred Couriers with charges starting from £8.99 for helmets costing less than £100 (over £100 are shipped free - see above for terms).
We don't cut corners or costs when safety is involved.
Returns
You may return any Products you have purchased within seven (7) working days of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind) provided that the Product is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging with all tags in place. To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including email) within those seven (7) working days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid as soon as possible, but in any event within thirty (30) days of safe receipt of your returned Product in compliance with this clause. You must arrange for and pay the costs of returning the Products to Phillip McCallen Motorcycles Ltd – on request, we will collect the Products from you, but the cost of this will be charged to you and we may deduct this from the refund. While in your possession, you must keep any Products you intend to return to us in good and saleable condition with all original packaging and tags in place.
If:
- (a) the Product delivered is not what you ordered or does not correspond with its description;
- (b) the Product delivered is not of a satisfactory quality; or
- (c) the Product is not fit for any other purpose for which you have bought it and you notified Phillip McCallen Motorcycles Ltd of this purpose before purchase, and Phillip McCallen Motorcycles Ltd has not informed you that the Product is not fit for that purpose; Phillip McCallen Motorcycles Ltd will, at its option, deliver to you a replacement Product or refund to you the price paid and your reasonable costs of returning the Products.
